2 days of in a row….

So far getting 2 days off in a row has been a rare occurance but finally it has happened. Day 1 was spent at Animal Kingdom in the morning and Magic Kingdom in the afternoon – I was mostly by myself since everybody seemed to be working but it was fun and I got to do all the random things I wanted. I did randomly bump into Robyn and her friend Bryce at the Art of Disney store on Main Street and we went to watch Storytime with Belle where Bryce got to be the Beast thanks to some sweet talking by Robyn. I decided to get an early night since I was going to the studios early the next morning.

I got the 10.45 bus the next morning to head to DHS with Luke. Alice was on the bus on the way to work – I had not seen her for a while so it was nice. DHS was fun and we did most of the shows although I refused to go on Coaster – I am really not a big fan of that ride. The evening was spent mostly at MK – we watched Spectro and Wishes – a magical end to a magical couple of days off.

I have an American Accent?!

2nd shift of my crazy 2 day week… Work was not to bad – quite a lot of fastpass return which was a little crazy but not too terrible. We had a downtime and I got to do another B-lift evac which was fun. It was almost all British guests on the train so they loved my accent although one did say I sounded like an American which is a little worrying since I have only been here 4 weeks and managed 9 last year without picking up an accent at all! I was really annoyed because I got my break just as I was about to head out to do the reset. In the end I ended up in tower for the reset when I came back from break which was actually really fun – I love resets in tower – lots of talking and the feeling of being in control!

The rest of the shift was pretty uneventful and finishing early was a bonus – lots of space on the A bus and I could actually get a proper night’s sleep!
