Hi! I’m Dan, welcome to my blog.
For two summers while I was at University I had the opportunity to work at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida as part of the Disney International College Program. In 2012 I returned to the resort to work at the UK Pavilion in Epcot as part of the Cultural Representative Program. In 2014 I am going back to do it all again on a second Cultural Representative program.
This blog was originally created to chart the journey of my second program (Summer 2009) where I worked as an attraction host at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Magic Kingdom. On my first program I worked in Merchandise in the Animation/Sunset area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Since 2009 this blog has grown larger than I could ever have imagined with people from all over the world reading and getting in touch before, during and after their programs. Whether you are looking to apply to the program or want to relive the great times you had in Chatham, Vista, Patterson or the Commons I hope you find this blog helpful!
