I thought since it is now a fair few months since my last blog. I would do a quick post to let you know what has been going on.
On Monday I had my visa interview (yawn!), 4 hours of fun sitting in the USA Embassy in Grosvenor Square. I was hoping to bump into a few Disney people but that unfortunately did not happen so it was a fairly dull day. I did however find out afterwards that several ICPers saw me but did not come over to say hello! 🙁
Well at 8am this morning a very nice man knocked on my door and returned my passport and DS-2019 so I am now all set for the Summer. There is just the small matter of 4 essays and 3 exams in between. I have now put a Calendar up on my wall with June 21st highlighted in as much red pen as I could find!
This week I also got my tax refund back from last summer – all £35 of it! Next year I don’t think I am going to use Taxback.com they seem really expensive. I also found out this week that my Lloyds TSB Travel money card that I got to spend USD last year can be reactivated so I don’t have to pay for a new one – result!
Well I guess I had better go and get on with some work so that I can actually go in the Summer!
